We are finally moved in to the new house and have organized things.  It took us nearly 4 months but we did it.  Here is the pictures:

I am married!!!!  Been married since November 20th, 2005:)

It's so great to be done with all the wedding planning and chaos.  Now is just time to relax, settle in to our new home and spend time together as husband and wife.  It still feels weird to call Donny my husband, it's amazing the road that we both took to get where we are now.  It definitely would not have been possible if it wasn't for God's guidance in both of our lives.

I am engaged!!!

Donny popped the question on Saturday afternoon.  It was absolutely perfect, he set me up even weeks before.  About two/one week ago he sent out an email to me and Pastor Greg - without even telling me - that we will not be able to make our counseling time with him on the 23rd of April.  Pastor Greg, who was in all of this fiasco, replied with a very mean email to Donny.  I immediately called him and asked him what is going on?? are you getting cold feet in terms of where this relationship is heading?  He assured me that he just forgot to mention that his mom wanted to spend the day with us. 

On Saturday we pretty much hung out, went to eat dim sum with his mom in the morning and chilled later on.  Then in the afternoon, he said he was going to Hollywood Videos to rent some movies and that he will call me from there.  I was getting a bit annoyed, he didn't want me to come with him  Then he never called me and when he came back home he brought nothing back  I was still processing, then he asked if I wanted to play Tennis, I said sure - I mean why not, I have all this agression  So I changed and got ready, then I said to Donny, let's go and he answered, not yet.  His mom also wanted to come and she never wants to come with us to play tennis, so by this point I am angry, frustrated and confused.  We finally got to the park and his mom went by herself to walk the dog and Donny and I went to check out the tennis courts.  They were all full and so we decided to just take a walk, we usually go up the hill where there is another park area to jog and chill. 

We went up the stairs and on our left hand side there was this beautiful picnic setting with roses, summer flowers and rose pedals scattered all over - pic:

Donny, being the jokester, said to me: "hey, there is food and drink, let's eat, drink and make a run for it"  I was like, oh my gosh, my guy is the most insensitive guy ever - someone had gone thru a great deal of trouble to create this and you want to eat, drink and run???    He finally fessed up that he planned all this for us awwww, he then said to me look at the view, since we were up on a hill, it was beautiful.  Then I turned around and he was already kneeling then he popped the question  And of course, I said yes, after saying maybe

We then toasted and he played the guitar and sang to me, it was a beautiful song he created.  After all is said and done, I asked him, how did he create all this and said that he needs to make a few phone calls.  Then I turned around and I saw a head peering from the bush, it was Tre.  Then one by one came Jeff and Fanny and his mom and Bobo.

Hi Xanga World!!!

Nothing too much going on here, except that I am now serving in the worship team at CFC Glendale with Donny.  Never really thought that I would go into worship again, but guess if the Lord wants me there I am there 

Donny and I started couple counseling with Pastor Greg in CFC, which has been so much fun and wonderful.  It's great to hear different advises and see how our personalities match.  We recently took a couple's compatibility test regarding certain issues such as conflict resolution, finance, family, etc.  We got two of ten categories back and we did pretty good, although there are indications that we need to work on some other things.  The funny thing is that there is this one question: "have both of you discussed on who will take care of the finances (meaning keep track of the money we get and spend)"  - well, I said yes we have discussed and I thought it would be Donny; Donny also said yes we have discussed it and he thought it would be me.  Anyways, so things have been really good here.

On another great note, Donny's mom has decided to accept Christ!!!!! yay!!! I am so happy and touched and joyful and excited and anxious, it is just so great to finally see her come to this stage and it really shows the power of the cross and how He loves His children.  It's quiet amazing to witness the process and the way God works.

This weekend was just a wonderful weekend, it was absolutely perfect.  Donny came back for the weekend and we talked about things that we needed to talk about such as pre-engagement counseling.  We were both excited that we had one person in mind, which is Pastor Greg from CFC in Glendale - Donny's first church.  So on Sunday, we visited CFC and we took Donny's mom with us.  It was incredible because she has been so open with us praying and going to church prior to this and we were excited as to what God will do next. 

We arrived at CFC English service and Pastor Greg talked about having an intense craving/hunger for Christ and how our actions/sins hinders us from that.  It was a wonderful message that really hit my heart to go back to Christ and reflect on my past actions how they have not been edifying.  The message was very convicting and I thank God for that.  At the end of the service, we had Bible Study and Donny's mom was willing to stay for another service which was in Chinese.  The Sunday School was led by Rona and Everett, topic: Sexual relationships.  Basically it is endorsing the sensuality and union of a sexual relationship and that it is given to us  by God meant for those he joins in matrimony.  One of the thing that I kept remembering was how kissing is an act of intimacy and leads our body to sex, the speaker said that open mouth kissing is definitely too far and can lead us to places that gets us in trouble - which is very true!  I am glad for the message and sunday school because Donny and I can apply it to our relationship so that it is more edifying.

After Sunday School, we had lunch and decided to talk to Pastor Greg.  Donny went to get Pastor Greg, I was waiting with Donny's mom and surprisingly she was waiting for me to pray before she eats - PRAISE GOD!  We talked with Pastor Greg and he was honored to counsel us and we were more honored to be counseled by him, we start next Saturday, yay!!!  I felt such a relieve and excitement that we were going to pre-engagement counseling!  Before we head out, Jennifer from the chinese service gave Donny's mom a Bible.

The three of us went to Glendale mall before heading back to Rowland Heights.  The car trip home was usual, we were all listening to music and suddenly from the back a voice said "turn down the music".  Donny was pretty shock and so was I because it was his mom that said that and she usually loves listening to any type of music.  Donny looked back and she was reading the Bible, we were both in awe and just kept thanking God.  Then she started talking with Donny about what she read and Donny told her the story of the our Christ and how He loves us and died for our sins.  It was so surreal, it was amazing.  Even at dinner time, she was playing Spider Solitaire and came to us in the middle of her game to pray with us.  It was definitely evident that God was just working in her, I pray that she keeps that intensitiy toward finding Him and she will reach the finish line.  GOD IS GOOD!!
